Over het werk

As an expedition assistant you will make sure that the batches of flowers and plants are made ready for transport to the buyers. The buyers' orders are processed from different logistic departments which you monitor closely. All incoming and outgoing trolley�s for transport are checked and scanned by you. For the outgoing trolley�s you wil make sure that the loading of the trolley�s is done in an efficient way. Once the trolley�s are ready, you wil check the orders composition are addressed to the correct destination using the delivery notes. Now the trolley�s are ready for the next step and you make sure they are wrapped with foil to protect the products during further transport.

It's time to inform the drivers about the trolley�s to be loaded, the loading time and the departure time. Then, together with the driver, you make sure that, according to the loading plan, the trolley�s are placed in the truck. You will consider the weight of the trolley�s for further distribution. The work at the flower auction is often hectic, when the work is done you wil go home! So you make long days sometimes and you can earn good money!

Wat wij bieden

• A varied logistical job in which you constantly learn new things
• You work on Monday through Friday from 06:30 until the work is finished, depending on the workload this is about 40 hours per week
• Prospect of a contract with the company If you do the job right.
• A gross hourly wage of �11,03 with the possibility of an increase upon demonstrated commitment after 3 months
