Essential Criteria

• Work through daily orders, picking these from stock, labelling them to prepare them for dispatch.
• Despatch orders promptly and on time according to despatch dates.
• Always ensure attention to detail so customers receive accurate orders.
• Organize packages for collection by our distribution partners.
• Work effectively and efficiently so that we have orders prepared in time for collectio.
• Put away shipments of stock blinds.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate within methods of safe working and practice to required health and safety standards.
• Be required to play your part as a member of the wider team, which may involve helping team members in other areas of the warehouse to ensure we meet our dispatch schedules.
• And as with all roles at Bloc Blinds and PPE your flexibility and co-operation are both expected and appreciated.

Desirable Criteria

• Have at least 1 years’ previous experience in a similar role, although full training will be given.
• Have a Forklift Truck license and be competent in operating this machinery.
• Be willing to have a flexible approach to your duties.
• Be able to work well both off your own initiative and as a member of the team. 
• Be able to give us examples of when you have applied your attention to detail and taken pride to ensure your work is of the highest standards.

This role will ensure that we can meet supply and demand deadlines for our products within and leaving our Herkenbosch Warehouse facility, adhering to time-bound standard work procedures and quality standards.

Working hours are expected to be 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, which may include some evenings up to 10pm, and some flexibility may be required in relation to daily hours to ensure we meet deadlines and schedules.
